I started blogging because my friend forced me into it and somehow I’ve found this to be a source of catharsis in my life. Anything that I write has a note of criticism in it and that makes me a true Karachiite. Sometimes I think that I shouldn’t actually pour in the bitterness into my blog posts. But hey… this has kept me alive, this has kept me sane and this has, in a way, kept me thinking.
And since there’s nothing objective in this world, not even facts then why should I stop from giving my opinions which are WAY SOUNDER than those of the government/television spokespersons? Why should I not contradict those who think they are the authority when there’s just ONE authority above all us?
Well.. here I am.. citizen of Karachi, Pakistan. Though Karachiites admit that they need to be a little dead in order to survive in this world, still every bloody event leave us in a pool of tears. Every mishap wrings our hearts and our souls and leaves its imprints upon us. The pain maybe heartbreaking but there’s always a ray of light which gives us hope and a reason to live without savouring upon anti-depressant pills.
